Establishing a New Fund - Case Study

The role included:

  1. obtaining a financial services license

  2. evaluating strategies for fund raising and agreeing on the strategic direction that best suited the client and its investors

  3. legal, accounting, and tax structuring of the new fund

  4. preparing a comprehensive set of policies and procedures that guided compliance, operations and distribution

  5. producing all marketing material, disclosure material and a sophisticated financial model of the new fund

  6. leading the marketing efforts and sourcing $55million in institutional funds,

  7. establishing the funds management operations,

  8. establishing all compliance, analysis and investment structures and working with the capital transactions team to source investment opportunities
